Dear Jamaicans, Friends of Jamaica and Diasporians,
It is with deep regret that the Jamaican High Commission informs of the passing of Mr. Leslie Roy Campbell, former Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and former Member of Parliament for St. Catherine North Eastern.
In honour of the memory and outstanding contribution of Mr. Campbell to national building, a Digital Book of Condolence has been opened from Wednesday, 3 June to Friday, 5 June 2026. Members of the Diaspora are invited to record their messages of sympathy and tribute at the following link: https://mfaft.gov.jm/site/condolences/.
The Official Funeral accorded to Mr. Campbell by the Government of Jamaica will take place on Saturday, 6th June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Tabernacle in Jamaica. A live streaming link has also been set up via the Jamaica Information Service (JIS) for the thanksgiving service for the late Minister Campbell and may be viewed at https://youtube.com/live/SoKbSwzRWlE?feature=share.
